This series of workshops is the first step before students can even begin to learn
how to code, as it provides them with fundamentals in shaping their critical
thinking skills. From an early age, getting students to exercise their muscles
around design and computational thinking helps them improve their
problem-solving, empathy, and innovation skills. Through each Kodely workshop,
students walk through a simulated design challenge and explore how to
empathize and understand the needs of others, identify problems, brainstorm
and generate ideas, and finally, learn how to test and evaluate their ideas using
prototypes. Students develop the skills they need to become well-rounded
innovators.
