Beginning ceramic students will enjoy a hands on, creative experience in a friendly atmosphere. Hand building and wheel throwing instruction is provided covering various techniques, skills and projects, including glazing and decorative techniques. Experience with clay is not necessary, continuing students will receive support at their level. Students may attend this class three times, minimally twice before moving to Level 2. The $25 material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class, which includes one bag of clay, use of all glazes and the cost of kiln firings. Clay tools will be available for use or can be purchased independently after the first class.
