Every piece of writing has a goal, whether it’s sharing your creativity or examining an academic topic, and in this class students learn to develop and tailor their writing styles to suit those goals. Learn to share your knowledge with your classroom and the world! Students master creating and performing speeches on a variety of informative topics, building the skills and confidence they need to use topics they choose themselves! They learn effective communication, organized speechwriting, clarity, the language and style of academics, and the self-confidence to share their thoughts and voices! Karate helps build confidence and motivation to learn and helps to increase concentration. Class will emphasize on hand -eye coordination, body awareness, and Karate concepts: Blocking, Kicking, Punching and Striking. Karate GI ( Uniform) is required. Our program consists of movement and gymnastics classes designed to help students develop a sense of physical fitness, coordination, and self-esteem. Students learn basic gymnastics skills such as climbing, rolling, swinging, jumping, and balancing while improving their listening skills and ability to follow directions. Classes include use of: tumble trak, rings, trapeze, balance beam, preschool bars, Olympic size padded floor, foam-filled pit, and two in-ground trampolines.

Classes will start off with warm up and dynamic stretches specifically focused on Volleyball movements for 10 minutes which is most important to play any sport. The focus will be on building strength and reducing chances of sports injury. The class focus will be on teaching volleyball skills, techniques and game play. The teacher will adjust the level of teaching based on the player skill level, grouping players with similar skill levels. Next, the class will focus on running specific drills to help learn the mechanics of passing, setting, hitting, blocking and serving. Drills will consist of teaching the techniques for different skills, ball control and foot work. The drills will be adjusted based on the skill level of each individual player by grouping them with players of similar skill level. Class will end with competitive game play and challenges.
