Beginning ceramic students will enjoy a hands on, creative experience in a friendly atmosphere. Instruction in hand building and wheel throwing covering various techniques, skills and projects, including glazing and decorative techniques. Previous experience is not necessary and continuing students will receive support at their level. Class size is limited to 15 students to allow for more individualized instruction. Beginning ceramics can only be taken a maximum of two times before you MUST move to Level 2. Material fee of $25 due to the instructor on the first day of class. Clay tools will be available for use or can be purchased after the first class.

Come join our friendly classes for a relaxing and creative experience. This is a multi level class where students are encouraged to explore and develop their skills in hand building and wheelthrowing. A less structured class than beginning, instruction will include demonstrations and individual attention to further their creativity. This course is the same as Ceramics Level 2 but also includes studio time. The instruction portion of the class will be in the morning followed by open studio time in the afternoon. Students must have completed two beginning classes and provide their own tools.

Ceramics Open Studio - Prerequisites:
1. Students must have completed at least one Level 2 ceramics classes at the Foster City Recreation Center.
2. Students must be able to work independently as determined by the class instructor.
3. Students must also be currently enrolled in a ceramics class at the Foster City Recreation Center.
4. Students must give time to studio maintenance.
5. Students may only attend workshops they are registered to attend; there will be no make-up sessions or exchange workshops.

Line Dancing is for fun and exercise, open to all ages that enjoy dancing to get lively, move with confidence, and stay healthy & fit, with or without a partner.

Level 1 is for new students or returning students who just like to enjoy easy-to-learn line dancing selections.
Level 2 is for students who are beyond beginning level and would like to learn more complicated or sophisticated selections and patterns.
Combo Levels 1 & 2 available.
Sunday sessions are Social Dance Mixers held in the amphitheater in Leo Ryan Park.

Zumba is a dance fitness class that combines Latin inspired dancing and fitness moves. Mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for
an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
